loading red cabbage palettes

Hi all !   .... i d need a tip on how to load red cabbage palettes with the clixtar plateau trailer wich comes with FSM iveco clixtar pack ...... i already edited the clixtar plateau.xml with "rotkohlpalettes" and also tried "redcabbagepalettes" but trailer wont load them ..............funny thing is i also had to edit the .xml for pumpkin palettes and THIS one  ( pumpkinpalettes) worked fine. oh .. btw i used mutifruit 128 and also tried the newer 64er fix (separately ofcorse )  but the problem seems to be the entry to the .xml file .   any advice ? ......thanks in advance  !!

Hi, have u checked your files in your savegame or the map itself for the exact spelling of item(s) ?

 And if u dont know where to look, just give the mapname

 

 

edit -  check for capitals, just opend the xml for it and most of the pallet parts are with a capital P

fa285634 -- when editing the .xml i copy / pasted the line and just filled in the word before the " -Paletts"  wich worked fine with any other mod i workd on - the map i am playing on is Sherwood Park Farm V.1.21 ----  i ll check the spelling  thanks for your reply !

in the map's multifruitaddon the cabbage itself is spelled   redCabbage  @Udo1970 so maybe  redCabbagePaletts

@fa285634 yep ... thats what it was indeed ... i checked the savegame filltype entrys and found my mistake ......thanks for suggesting this little trick mate !

@fa285634 ... i am learning how to handle stuff ....mabe one day i ll be able to build my own mods and maps but yet i am learning like mad  .... but if one does not ask one wont have an aswer ......my book of tips n tricks is getting bigger n bigger  and thats because of guys like you and all the others who give a hand to the newbies

That's the only way to learn.  Poke and prod people for answers; and hope that maybe someone will tell u the dirty tricks they use instead of the by_the_book_way_off_things.

@fa285634 i hear ya ! at my 46 years of age and through many hights and deeps in my life i really enjoy a nice game .....may it be in real life or on the pc screen ......and believe me .. if one wants to play dirty ....he has a nice opponent in me   ..   but then .. being a nice and straight guy brings you further than to be nuts  .....
