game save files moving How to move files from greenriver to greenriver v2.2?

Hello All,  

 

I have the great greenriver map and like many found some fixes needed?

 

Then Richard asked all of us to tell him the problems and bugs so he could

save the day by doing a v2.2 patch to fix these bugs in the original game map? 

 

And he did the patch. 

 

But I been told that to get this patch to work on the map,

The map needs to be restarted as a new game save? 

 

The problem is, I spent a very long time getting the farming on the original map upto

what I wished, all fields now brought, animals sorted, farm done as needed,

and all the right machines sorted? 

 

So I need help in a english step by step guide to what saved lines in the saved game do

I find and how do I move them into the new patched version of greenriver game? 

 

So I can carry on with the saved game but on the now patched map?

A little hint just play the v2.1 because there is al v2.3 coming soon! 

v2.3 will be the final version, then i will help you with transfer all your stuff.

Ok Richard thanks for the reply and the advanced notice of the new v2.3 patch.

 

Right I will carry on with the still great original until the 2nd patch is online and

then sort out the file moving thanks to yourself of course? 

 

Roll on the next patch! at last I be able to sell those fatterned chickens I got sitting there?

 

And use Blacker Hall grain sell point too?

I see the new v2.3 patch for greenriver is out, brill 

 

I have now downloaded it and unzipped it ready for it's installing into my original copy v2.1 of greenriver? 

 

You told me richard to sort out the download and then you help me sorting out of the moving of my stuff

from the original greenriver map into the new patched v2.3 version of greenriver? 

 

So when you are free please let me know what to look up in where on the files of the saved game

in the original game and how to move them all over to the patched v2.3 greenriver game?  

 

Also now I got the patch downloaded and unzipped, can you let me know how to install it right

into the game 1st before I move the saved files?

He Astrofarmer,

 

Yes i will help you with transfer your files.

When you unzipped the UNZIP file the you need to copy the GreenRiver_2016 and the zzz_changefruit.. into your mods folder.

Thats it now you are able to start the map.

 

Just send me your old savegame by pm to me.

I will set tour stuff to your new save file.
